Support you will receive

Are you passionate about ending global poverty? Do you want to make the world a better place? Are you willing to take action? Then come and join Results UK’s network of campaigners today! Results is a movement of passionate and committed people who work to reduce poverty and inequality by influencing decision-makers. Our team is composed of hardworking staff and volunteers from every walk of life - that’s where you come in! By joining us, you become part of a movement where your voice contributes to influencing crucial decisions on issues such as global health and education. As a campaigner in our network, you'll actively shape the direction of our advocacy efforts. We believe in empowering our volunteers to take the lead, organising within their groups, and making a real impact on the global causes you care about. Each month, you'll receive a set of action materials that lay out the issue we are campaigning on and how you can make a difference. Recently, campaigns have focused on a range of issue areas, including eradicating infectious diseases, ending undernutrition, and improving the quality of children’s education worldwide. Our primary action often involves writing to and engaging with MPs and Government Ministers, strategically chosen for maximum influence. This may sound daunting at first, but we provide you with the support, training and know-how to make it as simple as possible! And we know it works! Social media and raising awareness in the local press may also be part of the mix, meaning you can get involved wherever you are in the UK. But that's not all – as a vital member of our network, you'll regularly participate in our engaging monthly conference calls. These calls provide a platform to delve into the focus of the month's campaign, receive updates from across the network, and hear insights from expert guest speakers. It's not just about taking action; it's an opportunity to learn about international development, ask questions, and forge connections with fellow campaigners. We’ve made great progress in the fight against poverty, but there is still plenty of work to do! If you want to get involved, make a difference, and build lifelong friendships, register interest in the role and we will be in touch.
