Support you will receive

The Friends of Queen Mary’s Hospital Roehampton, who's role is to enhance the experience of the patients, are inviting residents of the local community to become a trustee. We are particularly keen to invite people who are interested in local health and social care and HR. If you would like to venture into charity trusteeship, then we are a great organisation to join and you would receive a warm welcome. 4 committee meetings a year plus AGM. Meetings are usually on Thursday mornings.

Why these skills are required

Trustees hold the ultimate role for directing the affairs of the charity and ensuring that the charity is well-run and delivering the charitable outcomes for its beneficiaries. Trustees must ensure that the charity complies with charity law, prepares reports on what it has achieved with Annual Returns and accounts as required by law. Trustees must use reasonable care and skill in their work as trustees, using their personal skills and experience as needed to ensure that the charity is well-run and efficient.
