Mudchute Park and Farm is looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Café Assistants. In this role, you will help with the daily operations of our café, ensuring a pleasant experience for our customers, while supporting Mudchute Park and Farm's mission. Key Responsibilities: • Greet and serve customers in a warm and welcoming manner • Take customer orders and handle cash transactions • Serve food and beverages, including specialty drinks • Assist with the set up and clean up of the café area • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the café • Provide information about Mudchute Park and Farm and our events to customers. Our cafe is open seven days a week. We are seeking individuals who can commit to a minimum of 1 to 2 days per week on an ongoing basis, especially during the busy lunchtime rush. This role is open to anyone aged 16+
• Friendly and outgoing personality • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work well in a team • Ability to work efficiently in a very busy café • Basic numeracy and cash handling skills (training provided) • Reliable and punctual • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks • Passion for supporting Mudchute Park and Farm causes Physical Requirements: • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods throughout the day • Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting light items
