Description

London Jaguars are dedicated to fostering strong connections within our community, particularly with local schools and youth organisations. Our aim is to promote physical activity, sportsmanship, and educational opportunities through collaborative programs with educational institutions. We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic volunteer to join our team as an Educational Outreach Coordinator. Project Description: The Educational Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with schools, organizing collaborative events, and facilitating programs that align with the educational goals of the schools and the community. This role involves strategic planning, communication, and coordination to ensure the successful implementation of outreach activities. Volunteer’s Main Tasks: - Partnership Development: Identify and establish relationships with local schools, understanding their needs and interests to create mutually beneficial partnerships. - Program Coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate educational and sports-related programs, events, and activities in collaboration with schools. - Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the London Jaguars and school and youth club representatives, ensuring clear and consistent communication. - Resource Management: Manage resources, including educational materials and equipment, to support outreach activities. - Event Facilitation: Assist in the execution of events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively, providing on-site support and troubleshooting as needed. - Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and assess the impact of outreach programs, gathering feedback to continually improve and adapt initiatives. Who You Will Be Volunteering With: Volunteers will work closely with the London Jaguars’ community engagement team, school representatives, teachers, and other community partners. This role involves significant collaboration and teamwork to achieve successful outcomes. Key Dates or Deadlines: Application Deadline: Rolling Orientation and Training Session: Mid July Regular Meetings: Bi-Monthly planning meetings on 31st of each month. Event Dates: Participation in scheduled school events and programs throughout the academic year. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and community engagement. By joining us as an Educational Outreach Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in building lasting relationships and creating impactful programs that benefit students and the broader community.
