The Vagina Museum was founded in 2017 with a view to become the world's first bricks and mortar museum dedicated to the gynaecological anatomy. We wouldn't be able to do it without the dedication from our fantastic staff and volunteers. Based in Bethnal Green, this free admission museum has a programme of exhibitions and events educating about and celebrating the world’s most misunderstood body part. Our current exhibitions explore sexism in the museum world, feminist history and body activism. We are looking to expand our team of Front of House volunteers. Front of House volunteers welcome visitors and support in making it a warm and inclusive place. They answer questions from visitors, deal with enquiries and answer phones and emails. Front of House volunteers engage with and invigilate visitors to the Museum. They also help with shop sales and ticket bookings. Full training is provided in skills relevant to working in a museum setting and the themes of the Museum.
