Role Detail

Description

A wonderful opportunity for a Junior Park Run Event Director to be available to support the appropriate delivery of events taking place at Wilson's School in Wallington every Sunday (attendance at events not necessarily required). DBS checks required. • Wilson's School Junior Park Run require multiple reserve Event Directors to lighten the workload of their main Event Director and ensure there is always a back-up contact available. • Event Directors are responsible for ensuring the Junior Park Run is delivered appropriately every Sunday, will have the ability to support the completion of initial set-up paperwork and the experience necessary to conduct a risk assessment on an annual basis. • Event Directors do not need to be on-site each week. • Sometimes Event Directors will also complete the role of a Run Director who attends the runs on Sundays. • Ideally an Event Director will have already taken on the role of Run Director at another event or be an avid parkrunner, although training will be provided so this is not essential. Time Commitment

A lead Event Director is already in position so this requirement is for further Event Directors to be in a position to make themselves available on an ad-hoc basis if the lead is unable to carry out duties required (due to illness, holidays etc).
