We are seeking a social media volunteer who will help CAHF to positively raise awareness of our cause and celebrate our 85th year. You will help us to grow our social media presence and reach more local residents to tell them about our services and to promote our volunteering and employment opportunities. You will create and schedule social media posts on X, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, NextDoor and Facebook., engaging with national Citizens Advice Social Media to ensure posts are varied, relevant, engaging and interesting to clients, professionals, potential funders and the general public.
Ability to use initiative, to be proactive, creative and excited to work with our team Commitment to the aims and values of Citizens Advice Experience of utilising a range of social media platforms Good IT skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills An interest in supporting the local community
You will be part of a friendly, supportive, diverse team. You will have an induction to Citizens Advice at our offices and be able to take part in training relevant to your role and the advice sector. This is a flexible role which can be done at our office or remotely from home. We reimburse travel expenses when you do come to the office. Your support will have a positive impact in the local community and make a real difference to people’s lives.
We need you for a minimum of four to six hours per week.
