Description

As a Youth Worker, you will be an essential part of our team, enriching the lives of young children through various activities and programs. Your role will involve working closely with children aged 5-11, providing guidance, support, and engaging them in meaningful activities. For your commitment, you will earn £40 per session.

Responsibilities: - Leading and facilitating activities and programs for children aged 5-11. - Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants. - Building strong relationships with children, encouraging their development and confidence. - Collaborating with other team members and volunteers to plan and deliver sessions. - Maintaining accurate records of attendance and any incidents. Requirements: - Previous experience working with children in a similar role. - A current DBS check. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to engage and motivate young people. - A positive and proactive attitude.

Time Commitment

As a youth worker, you'll commit to 25 days annually (3 days during Easter, 10 to 15 days in summer, 3 days in October, 2 days at Christmas, and 2 days on Bank Holidays). Each workday is 5.5 hours. We value the balance between volunteer work and personal or professional commitments, and we are flexible in arranging a schedule that suits you best.
