Description

We offer women’s drop-in sessions every Tuesday 10-12 noon to share skills, build confidence and offer community and new friendships. From sewing classes to Course with WEA and we use these sessions to cope with serious issues like mental health and domestic violence.

Why these skills are required

Capable, calm (tolerant/patient) and thorough - Good organisational skills - Ability to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week - Ability to commit a minimum of three months (ideally longer) - Sense of humour and perspective - Ability to encourage and support children and vulnerable adults - Ability to communicate effectively - Able to work as part of a small diverse team - Ability to maintain confidentiality - A willingness to learn and show initiative - Some roles may require a DBS check which SCH will carry out on your behalf
