Description

Support the efficient operation of the food bank responsible for providing information to supporters; clients, and partner agencies via phone and email, and providing administrative support to the warehouse, delivery, and foodbank teams. DBS required

- Capable, calm (tolerant/patient) and thorough - Good organisational skills - Ability to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week - Ability to commit a minimum of three months (ideally longer) - Sense of humour and perspective - Ability to encourage and support children and vulnerable adults - Ability to communicate effectively - Able to work as part of a small diverse team - Ability to maintain confidentiality - A willingness to learn and show initiative - Some roles may require a DBS check which SCH will carry out on your behalf
