At Citizens Advice our volunteers help people find a way forward with the problems they face. Join our team of volunteers who together are invaluable to service, delivering advice to people on issues such as debt, benefits, immigration and housing. Full training will be provided, and upon completion of the initial training, you will be able to: Assist clients on reception Speak to clients on our helpline Support clients in person Undertake administrative tasks The role involves a commitment of two days per week. - Being open, approachable and non-judgmental - Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person - A good level of literacy and numeracy skills - A good level of IT literacy -A commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service - Ability to regularly commit to volunteering - Ability to commit to and work with the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service
