Role Detail

Description

New products are being created which will appeal to visitors to the Soane Stable Yard. The new shop will offer a vital service to staff, Pensioners and Pensioners' families and the local community. The new Shop and Post Office will open in the Autumn of 2024. What you will be doing Supporting the day to day running of the Shop Providing excellent service to our visitors Responding to visitor enquiries and feedback Preparing stock for display Supporting Visual Merchandising Occasionally picking, packing and despatching orders Stock-taking and other administrative tasks

We are looking for volunteers with a friendly attitude Excellent customer service and customer interaction. You will enjoy interacting with a variety of people, be passionate about volunteering and happy to work as part of a team. With an interest in supporting the work of the Royal Hospital Chelsea you will be flexible and willing to do a variety of the shop tasks. If this sounds like you and you have a good level of numeracy, and are willing to represent the Royal Hospital Chelsea with professionalism, promoting our ethos, values and reputation, we would love to hear from you!

Time Commitment

The royal Hospital Chelsea does not specify the time you give to volunteering with us. We do suggest that you give 4 hours per week to get the most out of volunteering with us in this role.
