You will enable young people to build their confidence, social skills, and overall wellbeing through physical activity. You will help setting up equipment before sessions and packing up at the end, as well as deliver boxing sessions and developing young people’s skills, for instance, pad work and foot work techniques. The volunteer role also includes motivating young people to participate in sessions and building positive relationships with them by acting as a positive role model and promoting an inclusive culture where all young people are listened to, valued, and cared for.
Free use of the facilities (use of gym requires induction). A hot meal, bottle of water, and a snack free of charge. Team days and staff social events. Training and development opportunities.
4–6 hours per week.
