Stewards are required for the Vocal, Choral, Instrumental, Piano, Dance and Speech and Drama sections of the festival. Stewards can have a variety of different roles - taking money for the events, sitting alongside the adjudicators and helping with the administration of the competitions, welcoming and organizing the competitors
You would need to be welcoming and supportive. Have a can-do attitude.
If you enjoy supporting young people in their musical development, then this is a role for you!
Each session lasts about three hours so it would be possible to commitment to as many sessions as you like. The music festivals usually runs over the weekends in March. The dance festival takes place in February half term.
