Role Detail

Description

Join our jolly team of volunteers helping to fight furniture poverty, save furniture from landfill and build a strong community. We are a small furniture recycling charity making a big impact! We offer a friendly welcome, flexible hours, meaningful varied work - our volunteers are the beating heart of our charity. We have a great team of people of all ages and from all walks of life, bringing different skills, qualities and experiences to our charity. Anyone can shop with us, but we also support people on low incomes who are finding it tough to furnish their homes. This role involves looking after our customers, logging donations and sales on our system and helping to keep the warehouse in order. You will be supporting our warehouse manager who will train you.

We are looking for people who are: - able to work well in a team with staff and other volunteers - able to work with the general public - able to follow instructions and carry out tasks in busy working environment - are reliable, honest and punctual
