Role Detail

Description

The Holly Lodge Centre is an education charity based in the beautiful surroundings of Richmond Park. We specialise in providing outstanding workshops for schools and delivering bespoke sensory sessions for children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities. We are seeking a volunteer with experience providing visual art programming to adults with profound multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and their carers for our Monday morning art program. We try to link the workshops to the natural world and use a variety of materials and techniques. You should be willing to take a turn leading a workshop as well as contributing to planning upcoming activities. You should have knowledge and experience engaging adult participants with PMLD and offering gentle guidance to their carers in the activities.

Time Commitment

9:30-12:30 Mondays, a rota can be worked out with the other volunteers for how many times a month.
