Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organised volunteer to support our Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Development Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our services. VAI offers a wide range of services for local organisations, small groups, and volunteers at all stages of their development. We are working for a fairer Islington by supporting community and voluntary action. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who is keen to make a difference in the community, offering a chance to make a real impact while enhancing skills and experience in a supportive and community-focused environment. What is the VCFSE Development Manager Role? The Development Manager at Voluntary Action Islington provides capacity-building advice and guidance to community groups, charities, and other organisations in Islington. This includes supporting them in their development, helping them secure funding, and ensuring they have the necessary resources and knowledge to operate effectively. They a crucial role in strengthening the capacity of local organisations to better serve the Islington community. What is the Volunteer Administrative assistance Key Responsibilities: • Assist with data entry to help track the impact of our support and how to improve our services • Provide administrative assistance during planning and delivery of training sessions. • Contact clients after one-to-one sessions to gather feedback and offer additional support if needed. • Help maintain accurate records of client interactions and training outcomes. • Support the Development Manager in collating and organising resources that are useful for the organisation.
