Role Detail

Description

Blueprint make theatre, film and exhibitions with, for and about our local communities. Based in Lubetkin’s Bevin Court, we live by his motto, "Nothing is too good for Ordinary People." Project Whale is an Arts Council funded period of R&D to support a draft theatre piece focussing on the link between environmental and mental health. In collaboration with the field of marine science, drama and creative writing, we are exploring the correlation between an epidemic of violence towards women and children, and violence towards the planet. We are currently working with women (and children) in creative writing groups and looking for someone to assist with setting up the room at Mildmay Community Centre for the women's group. This is a weekly program, running until 23 September (with holiday breaks). Mondays 1245 - 1515. You would be required to help move table and chairs (already in situ) and to help with the logistical running of the group as well as with social media. We need someone on hand to participants should the facilitator be required to leave the room and to help with attendance record keeping, feedback and evaluation
