Role Detail

Description

Our main aim is providing after school educational support to primary school students. We run coding clubs which teach them about computing and coding. We also run holiday playscheme during the holidays. Ideally our volunteers should be confident, friendly and able to communicate well with the children, parents and team members. ● Attention to detail and thoroughness are essential with child protecting and safeguarding our children. ● Punctual time keeping. ● Well organised. ● Some experience of working with children 5 - 11 years old in a play environment. ● Have fun and enjoy working with children. ● Escorting our groups to and from events - mini golf, movies etc ● Upkeep of our important policies and procedures for Child Protection and Safeguarding. ● Get to attend workshops ● Explore the local places of attractions daily ● Learn new things with computers

- Have a current enhanced DBS in place - People friendly - Comfortable around children of primary school age

Could volunteer for 4 hours in the morning 9 - 1 pm or 8 hours - 9 - 4 pm Any amount of days out of the week
