Join us in being lunchtime superheroes for Hackney Playbus! Every Tuesday, the Playbus hosts a baby and toddler group, allowing parents and carers to come for play and support. As part of this, we offer a lunch service which we need a team of volunteers to help run a smooth operation. It will take place at St. Peters N1 every Tuesday from around 10:30 am until 2:30 pm starting from 3rd September. It'd be great if you could volunteer every week, but if not, we do have some flexibility to accommodate changing schedules. You will help set up the lunch space, heat the delivered lunch, serve our wonderful families, and assist with the cleanup. Your contribution will help us continue to provide this vital service, where families can take a moment to have a hot lunch with their littles ones, whilst having the chance to talk to other parents and carers. If you are unsure but want to have a go, we will be holding a open day in September, to give you a chance to see what the role entails. We have limited spaces, so booking is necessary. Friendly, reliable, happy to help out with whatever needs doing. Chop up fruit, vegetables, and bread. Lay tables, serve a pre-prepared lunch and clear up afterwards. Work as part of a team.
Help a local charity and friendly team in serving lunch to our families attending the toddler and baby groups. Without volunteers, Hackney Playbus could not provide lunch!
