Description

Volunteer Centre Hackney are recruiting volunteers to support patients in local GP Practices to use the new NHS online system to: • book appointments online • request repeat prescriptions • send message to the Practice (if applicable) • view their personal medical records • access the Patients App on the NHS website and/or on their phone • use the Patient Partner Automated Booking System (if applicable) • use AccurRx system for Patient Triage • how to complete on line consulatations The role will save patients and staff time and enable the surgery to be more efficient. Volunteers will support the patients face to face through one to one drop in and/or group sessions teaching them how to access all the services above. Patients will use their own devices or the ones available in the surgery.

Why these skills are required

Looking for at least one volunteer who speaks fluent English and Turkish to support Turkish speaking patients.
