Role Detail

Description

Volunteer to help teach weekly English classes to asylum seekers living in the UK. The lessons are informal and social events where we chat to asylum seekers and help them learn English. Can be involved as either a lesson lead or lesson assistant. No experience in English teaching necessary, but ESOL/TEFL qualifications are a bonus! Classes are generally given in person with our volunteer groups across London. DBS checks are required and we ask all volunteers to provide a DBS at their own expense initially, however once somebody has volunteered with us for 3 months, this can then be reimbursed by C4C.
