Role Detail

Description

Come and help learning disabled people at the Bubble Club to take part in fun and creative projects at our venue on Brick Lane. We do artwork, make installations, put on live music events and do DJ training. Workshops take place on Fridays 11-1pm and 2-4pm. We have space for 2 volunteers at each session and we ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 2 sessions per month. We also run live music club nights throughout the year at 93 Feet East which we hope volunteers can attend and help with set up and supervision. This is our core programme, we are also developing new programmes all the time with new opportunities arising as we go, so watch this space !

Why these skills are required

No specific skills or experience are required to apply for this role, however we do expect a level of enthusiasm for creative projects and respect for disabled and otherwise marginalised people and artists. Do let us know if you have experience with any of these skills as they can always be useful: Video editing, Photography, DJing, Music, Graphic Design, Social Media, Events promotion, Script writing, Teaching, Support work.

Time Commitment
