Carnival Dancers needed to take part in our carnival group for community cultural events including Nottinghill and Hackney carnival. We are a non for profit carnival organisation situated in the East end of London. We are looking to recruit participants aged 16yrs and over to take part in our carnival activities and parade for 2024. As a valued carnival dancer you will be given the opportunity to learn about the culture of African Caribbean dances and cultures, carnival costumes, themes and to take part in our local and national carnival cultural events
Requirements: Attend dance training and rehearsals, Take part in performances for carnival cultural shows. The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team No experience necessary as we have weekly dance training and work-out to help you get in form for parades.
Community engagement and involvement in our Caribbean Training in Dance and carnival culture, learn Caribbean / African dance style or just to enhance your dance skills.
Must be committed and reliable to attend the work-shop activities for at least 1 evening a week. Take part and perform in our cultural community events
