Description

HCEO is a small charity supporting older people in Hackney via our lunch club and a whole variety of weekly activities which take place at our vibrant and welcoming Centre in Stoke Newington and via outreach work in the local community with advocacy, advice and befriending projects. Despite the large number of older people who we already help, we know that there are so many more who need assistance, particularly after the pandemic, which is why we are looking for volunteers with experience in communications, marketing and social media to help us raise our profile and reach amongst a whole range of stakeholders, including the general public, social prescribers, GPs and potential funders. So, if you have experience in producing engaging content for social media platforms, promoting events, updating websites or identifying new ways of connecting with audiences and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of older people, then please do get in touch!
