Role Detail

Description

Fame Star Youth groups on a weekly basis to make bonds and friendships with other young people and to have a place to feel safe and be able to express themselves freely. The youth group is also taught about each sector of the media, from being in front to behind the camera. By the end of each consecutive year the young people would have put together an event to showcase their talents and what they have learnt. Are you a people’s person? Do you like hosting events and have some experience in chairing or facilitating meeting or workshops? Then we would love to hear from you! You will be helping us residents to have meetings where they can feel welcome, safe and comfortable – this support can really make a difference in our residents’ lives!

Why these skills are required

Some previous knowledge and experience on facilitation or chairing would be greatly welcomed; knowledge of safeguarding issues; sociable and trustworthy character
