Fame Star Youth groups on a weekly basis to make bonds and friendships with other young people and to have a place to feel safe and be able to express themselves freely. The youth group is also taught about each sector of the media, from being in front to behind the camera. By the end of each consecutive year the young people would have put together an event to showcase their talents and what they have learnt. Have you got marketing and social media skills? Would you like to put those skills to use towards helping out in your local community? Then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for a skilled marketing and social media volunteer to help us with promoting our work in the local community. You will be helping us with tasks such as: - creating engaging social media content - help us grow our followers on social media platforms - develop strategies that will allow us to engage more with key influencers and keeping up to date with our news and events. By taking up on this role you will be helping our organisation to grow and to use all marketing and social media tools available to us to spread the word about our work and impact in the local community, promote our news and events more widely and find more supporters.

Why these skills are required

Good understanding of marketing and social media strategies/ familiar with social media platforms/ experience of creating engaging digital content/ excellent communication skills/ good telephone and email manners
