Description

Greenwich Carers is a local charity that offers support, advice and activities to unpaid carers living across the borough of Greenwich. The Carers Volunteering Project was launched earlier this year and it provides volunteering opportunities to carers to support other carers within a range of different activities. Greenwich Carers are currently looking for carers or former carers who are interested in becoming Ambassadors to attend community events in the borough where they will welcome carers and let them know about the support and activities Greenwich Carers offer. The main role is to support in the running of outreach events in the community. To reach out to carers and welcome them at community events and provide them with information about the support Greenwich Carers can offer them and the range of activities and workshops on offer to carers.
