Role Detail

Description

We are looking for new Trustee to join our experienced and committed board. We are particularly looking for people from refugee and migrant communities to strengthen our expertise in Finance. We are keen to recruit a financially qualified trustee who is interested in succeeding to the role of Treasurer when the current incumbent reaches the end of his term of office. As a Board member you will be expected to attend a quarterly board meeting, join a sub-committee which also meets quarterly and offer support relevant with your expertise. Sub-committees include Organisation Development, Finance, Risk and Compliance and Fundraising and Marketing. All meetings normally take place in the evening from 6.00pm and last about 1.5 – 2 hrs. Since the lock down the board has been meeting via Zoom but may resume to face to face meetings when restrictions are lifted. We welcome applications from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Refugee and Migrant backgrounds
