CleanupUK are looking for volunteers in Lewisham to inspire and support local people to start their own community litter-picking groups. Liaising with council staff and other local organisations and encouraging the sustainability of those litter-picking groups.
A strong desire to live in a clean and safe environment and to encourage and support others to do so too. Confident meeting and talking to residents' groups and individual residents. Sociable. Ability to work well within a team.
The satisfaction of looking after the environment. Experience with event organisation, and improved communication skills. Creating community cohesion. Pre-agreed out of pocket expenses within our guidelines. Outdoor exercise and lots of fun!
