Croydon Almshouses Charities (CAC) is looking to recruit an experienced accountant to a voluntary position on the Board of our Company, which acts as the corporate Trustee for the Charity, and to Chair its Finance & Audit Committee. As Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee you would be expected to lead for, and advise, the Board on all financial matters relating to the strategic and operational management of the Charity, by working in partnership with the staff team, including: · oversight of the budget development and monitoring processes; · financial reporting and audit; · risk management; and · investment policy. Whether you are an experienced Charity/Finance Director or Trustee, or wanting to take your first steps at Board level, we would like to hear from you. It is essential that you are a qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA) with experience of operating at a strategic level, and personal or professional links to Croydon.
