Join our friendly, inclusive gardening group based in Crystal Palace. All welcome, no experience needed. •Volunteers are supported by a professional gardener to maintain a seasonal garden with flowers, bulbs and perennial plants popular with bees and other insects •Volunteers learn to identify different plants and remove weeds •There are different tasks throughout the season such as pruning and planting •Volunteers work as part of a small friendly team •Volunteers may occasionally work alongside other groups •Group visits to other gardens and projects
•Suitable for anyone interested in plants and nature who likes working with other people. •No previous gardening experience required. •All tools and equipment provided.
•Work alongside fellow volunteers and a professional gardener to learn different gardening techniques. •Look after wildlife friendly flowerbeds in the heart of Crystal Palace that attract bees and other pollinating insects. •Gain experience for employment or college. •Discover a new hobby or interest. •Up to three visits per year to other gardens or projects. •Comment from passer by, "Superb - good work!
