Role Detail

Description

The helpline volunteer will be the initial point of contact for enquiries coming through the BCWA helpline. The helpline volunteer’s role includes; - Identifying the service a client requires. - directing enquiries to the correct department - taking professionals and client’s contact details and passing them on to the relevant service/person - signposting callers to other organisations where appropriate - assisting with general admin duties - taking the lead on specified research projects relating to the collation of information, resources and services available.

Time Commitment

Minimum 1 day/week between Monday - Friday 9:00-16:30 for at least 6 months.
