They help with fun activities, friendly chats and keeping them company. Volunteers also welcome new patients to the ward and help them use tech to keep in touch with friends and family.

You'll provide much needed companionship for patients as they go through their recovery. You'll also be able to get a sense of what a career in the NHS could look like and gain excellent patient experience skills.
