Assistant Youth Support Officer (Volunteer)

Detailed Description

As an Assistant Youth Support Officer, you will support the delivery of the Degrees of Opportunity (DOFO) program, providing assistance to youth participants and ensuring they receive the support needed for personal growth and development. You will help with facilitation, mentoring, and support activities that empower young people in a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of group activities and workshops for youth participants. Provide support during one-on-one sessions, offering guidance and encouragement to youth. Help facilitate leadership, personal development, and skills-building workshops. Foster a supportive and positive environment for youth participants. Assist with tracking the progress of youth participants, offering feedback and motivation. Help maintain communication with youth, ensuring they feel supported and valued. Support the coordination of group activities, events, and community projects. Promote well-being and positive mental health among youth participants.
