Volunteer Driver
Rainbow Trust Children's Charity
We’re looking for volunteer drivers to join our London & South East Care Team.
Our Volunteer Drivers help to provide additional support to the families we work with by providing safe, comfortable and reliable transport, enabling them to travel safely to healthcare appointments, school and to other activities. We are particularly looking for drivers to assist with transporting families to and from hospitals in London and regional healthcare sites across the area.
Driving (must have full driving license)
Organising & Planning, UK Driving Licence
• A confident and calm driver • Experienced in interacting with people from a wide variety of backgrounds • Have an ability to empathise with families in stressful circumstances • Non-judgmental, warm and friendly You will need to hold a full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years and have the use of your own vehicle.

• We ask that you are available to volunteer regularly. Most of our drivers support us flexibly on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on family need • Times can vary between 8am - 6pm, Monday – Friday, depending on appointment times, but there is flexibility depending on the needs of the family and your availability • To enable you to get the most out of your volunteer role, we are looking for volunteers who are available for the next 12 months
