Detailed Description

Volunteers are an integral part of our charity and we really appreciate and rely on their contributions to our work with young people. Volunteer Tutors are needed at our after-school Academic Support programme to help primary students with their homework and our curriculum based activities. Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 3.15-5.15pm. You will get the chance to work with some amazing young people on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups. The young people come to the centre out of their own free will, as they want to see themselves improve and reach their full potential. We have established a strong positive ethos in the centre and behaviour is rarely in question with any of the young people that we work with. Training and induction will be provided to all of our volunteers and a strong support network is in place from all of our permanent members of staff.
