We are looking for volunteers who are happy to assist our volunteer drivers seating clients in the minibus, helping clients around the shops and carrying shopping bags to and from the minibus
We are looking for Volunteers to assist the SOS minibus drivers to transport the elderly and or disabled people to a variety of locations as part of our outings program or locally to Sainsbury’s in Kingston and Kew Retail Park. You will need to be able to ensure all clients are seated with their seat belts fastened, sometime offer an arm for support and possibly carry shopping bags from the minibus to their front door.

We are looking for people of all ages with a heart for older and or disabled people. You will need to be reliable, friendly and approachable and have empathy, compassion and patience. Someone who is willing to help people to stay independent. In good health as you may be required to assist older people with shopping bag.
So many people don't have family who live close to them. We connect people who want to help, with people who need help. It's a win, win. Those who volunteer feel more engaged with the people within their own local communities. And those people who ask us for help are able to get to appointments, see their friends and get out and about. The opportunity to go on our monthly outings.
