Blythe Hill Fields Festival is an annual community music held on the 2nd Sunday in July. The event is 100% volunteer delivered and includes 2 music stages, group activities, stalls and street food, fund raising, a fairground, and attracts around 3000 visitors annually. We are looking for a NEW head of festival to help plan, deliver, and steer the direction of our festival for 2027!
Lead event planning and production with our team of volunteers to deliver our Community Festival in 2027

Experience in event production, operational planning, creative programming, or volunteer coordination desirable. This could be a role share!
Enjoy creating an event and get to know more about the range of local talent and businesses in your community, with supervision and advice from our experienced team of volunteers. We offer refreshments and meals on the event day, an event t shirt, and an invite to our post festival volunteer celebration. It’s a great opportunity to get to know people in your local community, too.
2-4 hours a week from March 2027, rising to 5-7 hours a week from mid June 2027, and all day on Sunday 4th July 2027

Event: Blythe Hill Fields, Top of Blythe Hill Lane Pre planning: working from home, with some meetings with volunteers in the SE23 and SE6 area
