Are you a professional, local business owner, or experienced leader looking to give back to the Lewisham community? Lewisham Local is looking for skilled volunteers to support local grassroots groups, charities, and community leaders. You can get involved in one of three highly flexible ways: 1. Short-Term Advisory Boards: Join a small, focused "task and finish" advisory group (2–3 structured sessions over 3 months) to help a local organisation work through a specific challenge like growth, funding strategy, or governance. 2. Deliver a Practical Workshop: Run a 1–2 hour interactive session for local groups on your area of expertise (e.g., Fundraising, Governance, Communications, or Team Development). 3. Neighbourhood Drop-ins: Share light-touch advice and connect with groups looking for guidance at local hubs. This role is designed to be highly structured, practical, and respectful of your time, allowing you to create a massive impact without a heavy, long-term commitment.
