Corporate volunteering opportunity: wildlife friendly gardening

Archbishop's Park Community Trust

Maintaining gardens and creating habitats.

Detailed Description

At Archbishop's Park Community Trust, we maintain the gardens in Archbishop's Park as a valuable environmental resource for everyone. We work with adults, often those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged in some way. Our award-winning gardens include a pond and bog garden, woodland walk, orchard and apiary. We have opportunities for corporate groups to join us for a day or half day to help make improvements to these areas. This might include a new planting project, or creating wildlife habitat. We'll offer full guidance and mini workshops throughout the day.

The experience will allow you to spend time outdoors connecting with nature, and with other people, in a friendly and welcoming environment. We will offer mini-workshops throughout the day on various aspects of sustainable gardening. Of course, you will be provided with ample quantities of tea, coffee and biscuits!
