Primary duties include: - Contribute towards and review the Midi Music Company’s artistic programme development - Assist with marketing, promotion and recruitment - Network and develop links with other key youth service providers - Represent the organisation at events, seminars and conferences - Become a Peer Mentor on the Budding Musicians Club Programme - Generate ideas for youth projects - Act as ambassadors for the Midi Music Company
The Midi Music Company’s Cre8tiv® Youth Forum is a platform for young people aged 14-30 to get involved with helping to promote and develop youth participation at The Midi Music Company. The Cre8tiv® Youth Form exists to ensure that young people are at the heart of the organisation and that they make a positive contribution towards programme, whilst gaining experience in creating and delivering youth music community projects. An active member of the Cre8tiv® Youth Forum can expect to: Primary duties include: - Attend CYF meetings held once quaterley - Contribute towards and review the Midi Music Company’s artistic programme development - Assist with marketing, promotion and recruitment - Network and develop links with other key youth service providers - Represent the organisation at events, seminars and conferences - Become a Peer Mentor on the Budding Musicians Club Programme - Generate ideas for youth projects - Act as ambassadors for the Midi Music Company The Midi Music Company will provide opportunities for CYF members to develop their skills and add valuable experience to their CVs. This may include: - Assisting tutors with delivering tuition for our programmes - Supporting the delivery of the Breakout Club and other events (18+ Only) - Assisting the PR & Media Coordinator with Social Media Promotion (15+ Only) - Providing Admin support for the busy main office The Cre8tiv® Youth Forum will be supported and supervised by the Midi Music Company’s Office Administrator with the support of the Programme Coordinator, who will organise quarterly meetings with core Midi Music Company staff. The Cre8tiv® Youth Forum are expected to organise interim meetings to discuss and develop project, share ideas and raise issues around Youth Culture.

By joining CYF members can: -Build their CV -Access free rehearsal spaces at the Midi Music Company -Gain experience working with a registered music charity -Complete volunteer hours -Build confidence in a supportive environment -Network within a creative field -Gain a sense of community
We are looking for a minimum commitment of attending meetings for 1-2 hours once every 3 months (usually on a Thursday).
