Grief Gardener volunteer
St Christopher's
The Community Action team are looking for two Community Peer Support volunteer gardeners to help guide the development and care of the Grief Garden, while also participating as a member of the peer group.
The Grief Garden is a new initiative from the Community Action Team. It is a small permanent space for and by bereaved people — a living, evolving garden that integrates permaculture principles with community healing. It combines practical gardening with peer support, helping participants connect with nature, with one another, and with the cycles of life, death, and renewal.
