The role is suitable for experienced furniture maker carpenter who can help create potting tables and seats. either from new or upcycled pallets. Also suitable for apprentice carpenter for making simpler items and wants to use this as work experience
The role will help us create various supporting furniture, raised beds etc to support a new community garden in Grove Park.

One of the most rewarding aspects is the strong sense of achievement that comes from seeing a space transform through your efforts, especially seeing future which then has practical every day uses. Working outdoors in nature also has proven wellbeing benefits. Volunteers often experience reduced stress, improved mood, and increased energy levels from being active in fresh air and natural surroundings. Being part of a committed community who are bringing about neighbourhood improvements is a nice feeling of belonging and a sense of meaningful accomplishment.
1-10 days between April to end of July, however many can be spared to make different items for the community garden.
