We are seeking extra help in our charity shop from Jan 2025.
Support our retail manager to maintain high standards in the shop by maintaining stock, steaming clothing and providing friendly and professional customer service.

The most important skills is the ability to communicate with people, in a friendly and polite way. Other skills include creative to help with displaying stock and using initiative to spot when things need doing.
Our volunteers love working in the shop because it gives them a sense of purpose, knowing that their time is helping other people, our volunteers tell us they feel like they belong to a community and really enjoy getting to know our regular customers. You will gain valuable work experience and build your confidence in interacting with all kinds of people. We are happy to provide you with a reference, if you leave the shop to take up a job.
The shop is open 7 days a week during the day. We would prefer a minimum commitment of half a day a week.
