Gardening Volunteer

St. Raphael's Hospice

To support our Lead in house gardener with looking after and nurturing our gardens and grounds. To assist in creating a high impact low maintenance outside space for our patients, families, staff and volunteers to enjoy.

Detailed Description

• Help to maintain and nurture our gardens and grounds • To tidy up and sweep as necessary • To weed and dig as necessary • Each season will bring a particular need on top of these tasks i.e. watering flower beds with particular attention to the potted plants in warmer months, leaf clearing and pruning in Autumn and grass cutting in Spring and Summer. • Tidy tools away as instructed

 To have an interest in the work of the Hospice and want to support your community  To have an interest in an outside activity and an interest in gardening (no expert knowledge needed)  This is a physical role and outside in our grounds

Time Commitment

Gardens and grounds of Hospice site London Road Cheam SUTTON SM3 9DX

St Raphaels Hospice is located on .London Road and on the same site as Spire St. Anthony's Hospital. Buses 93, 413 and 293 stop near the entrance to the site. Ample parking on site - please turn left immediately n entering the site and our car parking bays are clearly marked. Please enter your vehicle registration in the tablet at our main reception for free parking for up to 24hrs.
