Detailed Description

Assisting in organising and running of events We have 19 resettled families in Greenwich and a team of around 30 volunteers. The aim of this role is to organise and host social events for the families and volunteers. Social events help the families get out of the house and socialise with people from the local area. We hope these events will help the families feel connected to and part of the community. We are looking to create a small team of local volunteers who will meet regularly to plan and organise a range of events. These events will primarily be for our families and volunteers however there is scope for us to support fundraising events, awareness raising, training, film nights, and even day trips – anything you can think of! This team is managed by our Volunteer Event Coordinator and Team Leader (VEC).
