Multiple Sclerosis Bromley
Join our existing friendly team of drivers as a Volunteer Driver. You would drive one of our four accessible vehicles collecting and returning people to their homes within the Bromley area. As long as you have held a full car driving licence for at least two years and are aged 30 - 70yrs you can join us. Register interest now!
You will be joining an existing and friendly team of drivers for our four accessible vehicles. We are a committed team of volunteers running and supporting the services of Northlands which is open Wednesdays and Thursdays. We also use the vehicles for day trips for our members, which they value highly. You would collect people from their homes in the Bromley area in the morning and take them back in the afternoon. However, we are flexible to suit your availability to volunteer. The volunteer opportunity exists either in joining one of the day teams or as a casual bank driver providing back up to those teams. You will require a disclosure check to carry out this role.

Some experience of driving a larger vehicle may be helpful but not essential. You can drive our vehicles on a standard full UK car driving licence.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a charity and develop your existing skills and learn new ones. We need you to get involved and help make positive changes to the lives of people affected by Multiple Sclerosis. As a Volunteer Driver you will help reduce isolation by driving people who wouldn’t be able to attend their local group’s activities and events. Training and support is offered and there are regular opportunities to join in with the social events at Northlands, as well as the trips out.
