Support the Abbotshall Family Warm Welcome Hub by serving tea, coffee, and occasionally hot food, helping with activities like arts & crafts, welcoming visitors, and keeping the space clean and friendly. Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for low-income families with children.
You will support the Abbotshall Family Warm Welcome Hub, a project aimed at offering a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for low-income families with children. Volunteers help serve tea, coffee, and occasionally hot food, support activities such as arts and crafts, welcome visitors, and assist with keeping the space clean and friendly. This role runs until the end of March and takes place on Wednesdays from 14:00–17:00 and Thursdays from 13:00–16:00. Training and guidance will be provided, and no previous experience is required.

Volunteers will gain experience working in a community setting, develop communication and teamwork skills, and learn how to support families and children. They will also have the satisfaction of helping create a welcoming environment and making a positive difference in their local community.
Volunteers are asked to commit to one or more sessions per week, either Wednesdays from 14:00–17:00 or Thursdays from 13:00–16:00, until the end of March.
