Our volunteers have the ability to motivate, enthuse and encourage the development of our young people. They are able to plan adapt and run our programme of activities that are linked to developing and enhancing life skills. Volunteers are able to recognise and assess risks of activities being undertaken.
Scouting gives you so many opportunities to grow personally, professionally and socially. Volunteering gives you a chance to empower young people and to create the kind of community and world you want to live in. You can build skills in leadership, communication, planning, self-management and more. Being part of the team helps to improve skills for life - from teamwork and self-management to problem-solving and people skills.
